Indatatech used four (4) teams with a total of seven (7) inventory technicians. Collectively the team covered 11,216 miles, driving site to site during difficult winter conditions.

Indatatech was contracted by Ricoh to perform an IDCS (inventory, data collection and tagging services) audit of its print devices for their client TD Bank.

The scope of the inventory included 1,265 TD Bank locations across 15 states along the East Coast to include: Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Virginia, and Vermont as well as locations in Washington, DC. We completed the inventory in about 2 months.

Indatatech used sophisticated routing software to route, schedule, track and time stamp its teams in order to effectively and efficiently meet its deliverable.

Inventory, discovery and verification, were conducted during business hours. Indatatech was intentionally and successfully unobtrusive, courteous, discrete, and professional while performing the task as not to disturb business operations.

In addition, Indatatech used electronic tablets and Bluetooth scanners along with their own proprietary software application to capture, upload and download the data required for the project’s scope.

Upon project completion, Indatatech was able to provide a robust database, along with data analysis to include charts and graphs which communicated: make/model percentage breakdown; percentage of assets per state; and device configuration sheet availability, etc.

The success of this project has led to additional projects with Ricoh.

PROPERTY INVENTORY OF ALL COUNTY PROPERTY

BEXAR COUNTY, SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS

The solutions we brought to the County was to recommend, rate and ultimately assist in the selection of a fixed asset management software system.

Due to tax compliance, Bexar County (San Antonio, Texas) engaged Indatatech to perform of full inventory of County property.

Items inventoried were vehicles, Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E), IT equipment, prison and healthcare property, voting machines and weapons.

Bexar County faced many challenges. They had to construct a process to determine what assets were to be inventoried; a methodology for inventorying the assets; and a system to track them. Indatatech provided solutions for all these challenges.

We reviewed several software systems and created a list of critical variables to rate each one. In addition, we selected a bar code scanner and data collection program to work with the system. Once the systems were purchased, we worked with the software vendor to install, deploy and train county staff to use it.

In order to affectively monitor, service and refresh its client’s devices, Ricoh needed a comprehensive inventory in which it contracted Indatatech to perform an IDCS (inventory, data collection and tagging services) for Prince George’s County Public Schools’ print devices.

The scope of the inventory included 177 locations that consisted of schools from Pre-K through High School, administrative buildings, and bus lots in Prince George’s County.

Inventory, discovery and verification, was conducted during business hours. Indatatech was intentionally and successfully unobtrusive, courteous, discrete, and professional while performing the task so that students and faculty were able to conduct business as usual in an already strenuous learning environment.

Upon project completion, Indatatech was able to provide a robust database to the satisfaction of the client.

The success of this project has led to additional projects with Ricoh.

Physical Inventory Control
